Building since 1972
Ghana Expert Builders has practised one discipline since 1972: building to a written specification and standing behind the result. Across a span now exceeding half a century, the firm’s commissions have centred on corporate and institutional facilities and on high-end private residences — buildings whose owners specify performance before tender and inspect it at handover.
Where the firm works
The portfolio is concentrated in Greater Accra — Cantonments, Ridge, East Legon, Airport Residential, Trasacco — with a second established base of commissions in the Ashanti Region around Kumasi. Selected heritage restoration work has extended along the coast, including period properties in Cape Coast. The firm builds in Ghana, for Ghana.
How a commission runs
Ghana Expert Builders puts each build in the hands of a single named lead, and keeps it there from site survey to handover. Quantity-surveying input produces a measured Bill of Quantities before work begins; structural and engineering input is registered, not improvised; quality control is staged and signed; and the handover file is written, complete, and kept. Corporate estates departments and private principals receive the same documentation discipline.
What half a century has taught
Codes have tightened, materials have changed, and client audit regimes have grown more exacting — and the firm’s answer has stayed the same: build true, document the work, and remain answerable for it years after the paint has dried. That is why facility owners and homeowners who inspected the firm’s work decades ago still commission it today.
